▪Most sensitive noninvasive Ix = USG
▪IOC = Chest X-ray Erect
▪Best Ix = Chest X-ray Erect
▪Gold standard Ix ( but usually not done ) = CT
▪An erect chest x-ray is the most sensitive plain radiograph for the detection of free intraperitoneal gasin an EMERGENCY setting. On chest X-ray, any subdiaphragmatic free gas can be seen.
